The tale of the Tractor loving Buck!

A fellow co-worker had a good story. They purchased an old Ford tractor a few weeks ago and it’s sitting out back. His dad comes around the back of the house and there is this really nice buck! It’s rubbing all over the tractor! It’s totally engrossed with the scent and re-marking this old blue tractor. Dad about has a stroke getting into the house and trying to get the old Thurty-thurty out of the closet, scattering shells all over in his haste. I won’t speculate if he managed to get the orange on but we’ll just say he did. With heart pounding he was shocked to find the big deer still all rubbing on the tractor. Being careful managing the line of sight not to perforate the sheet metal and wrestling with the adrenal induced “buck fever” he managed to make a clean shot. Right in the eye!

Dad is getting on op in years and about did himself in dealing with cleaning chores. In his stress he declared he was done, this is the one he is finishing on. He’d been blessed.
