He used his BMW motorcycle and his right leg. Knocked the antlers off the bucks head! Has two breaks in his right leg but won't require surgery. I prayed for him and drove him to the Emergency. He is gonna be on crutches for awhile but the Lord was looking after him.

I told him that a rifle or a handgun would work much easier.

Good job Jim, the prayer was a good choice.

To get up to temp and spin up the charging systems. I got about a mile down the road on the Ducati and I thought I was having an engine failure. I quickly got to the edge of the busy roadway. My front brakes were totally locked! The suspension was pumping up the brakes! All I could do was activate the blinker on that side and find help.

I walked a couple hundred yards to a guys house, I had noted he housed a vintage Z28 Camaro. He was home and I asked if I could borrow a crescent wrench, pair of pliers etc?! (Didn’t think a 11mm was in the cards) Nice black fellow, and made a new friend. I bled the line and rode back to his garage. We talked cars and bikes a bit (the 80’s IROC now sports a 6.0 LS) and I tip toed back to my garage.

I truly felt God protecting me with the entire incident and give Him full credit. Sometimes adversity can be our protection. I sure felt that in my Spirit! Rather than upset I thought to myself “yes, Lord. Thank you!”. In a few seconds on a back road I could have been at triple digit speeds, tapped the front brakes and had a serious accident. In my advancing age I try to be more in tune with my inner voice (Spirit) and listen, rather than being stiff necked and insisting on my personal desires. There are forces in our lives every day beyond our full understanding. A broke leg is better than a broke neck!
