Took a hacksaw to my Ruger American 22 Magnum

Whacked the barrel back to 16 1/2".

Took it to the range today to see what kind of damage I did. Fired these without changing anything .. at all 50 yards.

Then I sat a 5.56 empty on the backstop .. fired one shot ..

Looks like I did not mess it up too badly.

my favorite rifles. I bought the one with camo stock and ceracoted barrel with muzzle brake. With Hornaday 30gr v-max load 1" groups at 50 yards all day. Can not wait to see how it preforms in the field.
