I have or had a 5.5" Rhawk in .41 GNR

and a .410 GNR. Both are just a rechambering job. Both work perfectly. Both use easy to find brass. Both are good killers. In the .410 I always use commercial .454 brass to just shoot and hunt with properly head stamped brass, and did so with the .41 GNR. Both of mine were pleasant to shoot, with .410 being much easier than the parent .454. My .454 was a super Redhawk.
A handload of the .410 with a copper powder coated cast hp in a black oxide hull is to me a thing of beauty. The different between the .454 and the .410 as to recoil is vast at least me. You can be happy with either one.
