Reeder Custom Guns - Had a good day with our church family. Baptism day!

Seven individuals, aged 7-76, took the plunge. It was great to be a witness to their commitment to the Lord's Gospel.

We also had a visit from two of our supported missionaries. Tim and Carol have spent the last 25 years working on translating the new testament into indigenous languages of Mexico and Central America. People like them, Jim and Twyla, and countless others who hear God's calling are inspiring.

Shooting a .22 for fun isn't working, or hunting,....is it?! lol

We have a business meeting this evening (a necessary endeavor), but a good message before I anticipate, then afterward some cake and ice cream. This is Pastor appreciation month. Indeed a often thankless duty.

I do plan to test a night shooting concept this evening. It is getting dark so early now. Will be dark when we get home for certain. Yesterday I did see some deer hanging up, guys skinning them. In Ark. you could shoot a doe on your own (private) land only. Special event. (not to imply I'm spotlighting deer - I'm not)

Yessir, the business side of church is a tedious but necessary part of keeping a congregation open and active. My wife is our treasurer and I am missions coordinator, so we get to see a lot of the back of house operations, so to speak.
