varmints and we can hunt them year round. Like the cottontails back in Tennessee the cottontails and Jacks here will run when jumped and usually run in a slow circle coming up behind us to give us a good shot at them. I have a scope on my model 48 which sometimes isn't the best way to go. But for squirrels way up in the top of a Ponderosa pine it works very well.
