Update on prayer request for my wife

Well, it has been busy. Many of you will remember my wife’s breast cancer scare and biopsy. We found out that it is in fact cancer. However it is early, small, slow growing and by what I gather if you have to get cancer, it could be so much worse.

She has surgery scheduled for next Tuesday and she is looking forward to getting it all behind her. Thank you all for the prayers, but don’t stop now. She feels God’s presence and peace. I am so proud of her. So strong and brave to be such a little thing. She is quite a woman.

We celebrated our 25th anniversary in July. I wasn’t quite 21when we married. We were told to wait, that we were too young. I can’t imagine where I would be now had she not been there in those early 20s. I watched one night as she asked Jesus into her heart. That year I saw her life change. I realized after spending a life in church, I didn’t have what she did. That is when for the first time, I met our savior. I am so thankful to her for showing Him to me.
