Huey
44-40 Part 2...

The Reeder gun is fit very tight and smoothly. Lock up is tight, alignment is perfect and grip fit exceeds all 26 of my prior Reeder builds. Of course, several of these guns were purchased from Gary not having been built for me.

The gun came with a gold bead front and v-notch rear sight which I do not shoot well. They are good for quick shooting and appropriate for a "Trail Gun." My first three groups were 1.5". Me being the limiting factor, not the gun.

An added and unexpected bonus is the 44-40 cylinder fits my factory SBH as well as the Reeder Gun. Hard to believe with the custom Reeder barrel. Both guns have a .002" barrel gap which is like an added Christmas Present.

I'll defy the usual norm and try this fine gun loaded with 300 grn GT Hollow Point Bullets. Think this gun may just give the old 45 Colt a run for it's money.

The sheer luxury and nostalgic chamberings of this fine revolver means it's not for sale.
