Remember if you see something you want, call Noodle at 928-527-4100 immediately as someone else may be dialing at the same time. Then post it on here. All items are plus shipping.
First I have a special S&W Model 60. It is a 3" in 357 Magnum. It is a gun made especially for the NRA. It is in 99% condition, looks to be test fired only. A standard model 60 in 357 runs between $650 and $750. This one is sale priced at $$425.

Next we have a rare one these days, a Winchester 94 in 30-30. Not that the gun is rare but that a good smooth 30-30 is hard to find. This one is NOT a pre-64 gun. It was made somewhere in the mid 70s. It is in very good shape with a few scratches and small dings on the stock from being hunted with. Book value on this one is $585 but they usually go higher due to demand for a good 30-30 lever gun. This one is priced at $425.

Next I have a gun that wasn't sold last week so I have marked the price down considerably. It is the Savage Model 340 chambered in 222. We had it set aside to rebarrel to one of our Raptors but are just too busy, so it goes up for sale. Very good condition and perfect for varmint hunting or for a youngster's first gun. This one is priced at $$295.

It has the Magnum 5 porting to bring the recoil way down.It is finished in our satin Vapor Honed stainless finish. It has the Magnum gripframe to keep the trigger guard from bashing your middle knuckle. It has a really nice set of burl walnut grips made and fit to it. It has the Belt Mountain base pin for the utmost in accuracy. It has dangerous game animals engraved on it. It has had the Positive Performance Package done to it and is very accurate. This gun with all the special features would normally be well over $2100. It is sale priced at $1595.

Next I have something special. The old gentleman used this to carry his gun in Africa on his safaris. You might not be able to go to Africa but you can own a rifle case that has been there a couple of times. it is set up for a double rifle or take down shotgun. It is all leather with flannel interior. The leather is in very good condition as is the interior. This is a special gun case priced at $150.

I also have 3 Contender/G-2 barrels, all chambered in 223. They are new in the factory package. And I have 3 of them. The first one is a carbine barrel, 23" and stainless. It is normally $440 but priced at $180.

Then I have 2 new TC Contender barrels for G-2 or Contender. They are 14" and stainless. They would normally be $430 but are priced at $175.

Next I have a few custom TC barrels. I have a couple of custom Encore barrels and a couple of Contender barrels plusone Howdah barrel.
I have 2 Encore barrels. A 416 GNR barrel, 15" stainless and a blue 378 GNR 15" , both with brakes priced at $165.
I have 2 Contender barrels, 1 338 GNR in stainless 15" with brake and a 256 GNR barrel,11" stainless. Both priced at $160.
I also have a shorty Howdah barrel. 7" in 41 Magnum, stainless, priced at $150.

Next I have the jewel of the day. It is the rare S&W 38-44. This is the 38 Special built on the 44 frame. In all my years of doing this I have only seen one other and it was well worn. This one is test fired only. The old fellow had it in his bedside drawer for many years but it is too heavy for him or his wife so we bought it from him. The gun is perfect. It has the 5" barrel. It is all original with no blemishes. The old gentleman fondled it a lot and it has a light cylinder ring from being cocked. other than that it is 99% condition. I have 2 collector books. One shows the gun at $1795, the other at $1895 in 95% condition. This one is better than 95% condition, closer to 99%. It is priced at $895.

The gun would be good for anything in the lower 48 and with proper shot placement it would be good for anything in all 50 states. It is finished in our satin Vapor Honed Black Chromex and has the Gunfighter Grip with a custom set of the Ukrainian grips made and fit to it. It has the satin stainless small parts and has had the positive performance package done to it. It has the Belt Mountain base pin for a tight lock up. This beauty would be the perfect all around gun. If I had to go with only one revolver this would be my gun. It would normally run around $1895 but is sale priced at $1095.

S&W 38-44 Heavy Duty in 38 Special

Ray

Saturday, October 26, 2019, 14:15 (2497 days ago) @ Gary Reeder

This revolver is big and heavy because it is a 38 Special(K frame chambering) built on a 44 Special size frame which is where the 38-44 comes from. This is made on Smith & Wesson's "S" or as it became known later, "N" Frame. This revolver was the precursor to the 357 Magnum, and many of these guns were re-chambered from 38 Special to 357 Magnum. These revolvers were also produced with adjustable sights and those guns were called the Outdoorsman. That's definitely a nice one, Gary.
