OK, settle a debate real quick. what is the proper way to pronounce Casull. I say "Ka-Sull" since there is no O in it.
I've heard others say "Ka-Sool".. Even heard one guy, being completely serious call it a .454 Casual. If he had ever shot one he would find out that there is nothing casual about it at all.

Gary and John are right the correct way to pronounce Dick Casull is ( Dick Kah-sool ) I knew Dick back in the late 70s and early 80s talked to him a number of times he used to have a small gun shop in North Salt Lake called the great Salt Lake trading company. He had a three gun set of 454 casulls converted from Colts with five shot cylinders a 4 1/2 a 6 1/2 and a 8 inch in a display case that he wanted $1100 for, but there was no way at the time I had that kind of money. I really wanted them bad, I ended up buying a 357 colt trooper from him at that gun shop. Dick was a hell of a guy he’s going to be sorely missed.
