Did you sell the .222 savage last week? If not, would it be possible to convert to.350 legend? should I want to?

The straight walled case trend is to make legal deer cartridges where select states have goofy screwed up laws about rifles that can be used hunting deer. For that end they work great and you will likely see more until they figure out that "WE" have figured it out. Then they'll change the law again.

Other than that it has no particular merit except make you maintain a pretty close case length span for correct headspace. Unless it has a rim, it rests in the chamber on the case mouth like a .30 Carbine. Not that it's a real big deal but it redirects some maintenance issues with case life and use.

I have been greatly let down toying with that .30 on the Fireball case. It's simply a pregnant .30 Carbine and gives the same performance with only a slightly heavier bullet. Most bullets need to be specifically designed for it to give top gains. Any powder more bulky than 4227 diminishes capacity too much. It's not real fun with cast bullets either. At least not for me, and I like a challenge. The short throated $#@&!*
