On an AR. Primarily wanted to know if the adjustable stock will stand up to bashing it on the ground to help eject d stuck brass, as you can do with a FAL. Will the M4 stock just come apart. Inquiring minds and all that.

to fix a complicated malfunction. If you have a brass over bolt or a bolt override type malfunction, very rare but can happen, then there is too much pressure for the shooter to pull the charging handle back with their fingers. So you hold the charging handle and hit the butt of the gun on the ground, or you leg, etc, basically strike it on something to give it negative pressure to pull the bolt back. I wouldn't get a cheap stock if that's what you are worried about.
