Skinned and began disassembly of that buck. Bullet entered low on the left rib cage hitting a rib dead center then traveled up through the chest into the far side upper right shoulder. Clipped the shoulder bone and came to rest just under the skin on the far side. Starting weight was 255 gr, retained weight is 225.1 gr or 88.2 % retention. Bullet expanded to .924" and yes there is a piece of bone stuck in there that wouldn't come out. Overall very impressed. Next bullet test will be the 270 gr RCBS SAA bullet, one of my favorites. Have a couple more doe tags to fill.
