bought. It is the very rare artillery Luger with the 8" barrel. It was made in 1916 and is a DWM Luger. The gun is in very good condition. The old gentleman doused it in oil before he brought it in so disregard the oil on the gun. It needs to be wiped down and a good cleaning. It is in excellent condition for being 103 years old.The bore is nice and shiny.A couple of the numbers don't match but for something this rare that really doesn't matter. I found one just like it with all matching numbers on one of the collector sites and it was already extremely high priced and still had days to go. By the book this beauty at about 90% should be somewhere around $2250 or a bit more and quite often the prices are actually higher due to scarcity. I figure the gun at a gun show would bring at least $2500. It also comes with an extra magazine. We have priced it to move at $1395.
