Charter arms Pitbull 45 acp, pros and cons?

a year or two before dirt. They are not meant for constant use but for self defense they work very well. If I remember right the Son of Sam used a Charter Arms Bulldog in 44 spl in his rampage in the late 70s and wiped out half the population of New York City. The gun worked fine for him.

So if you want a big bore revolver that is light enough to carry daily, and can keep your loads down to medium then the Charter Arms is a good gun.

... for a relatively short time and employ them as informal fun plinkers. Love their "sweet spot" size and weight. Triggers are just fine, and the .380 has given especially small groups with "any old" ammo. Recoil is 'feisty' with .40 and .45 but never objectionable. Front sight height on all 3 guns is generous and it's easy to "file in" your favorite and common load. The extractor for 'rimless' requires a bit of technique for loading and unloading, but no big deal... not as fast as 'normal,'... As fun guns, I'm surprized how much I love them... makes you wish all revolvers could be this size and weight!
