It seems to me that if the lawyers and activists get too sue happy the AR makers should just go full out and sell modules that we could buy from different manufacturers and assemble ourselves. just a thought

AR-15 from parts that are readily available. Every part of the AR is available over the counter from just about any gun shop. I think half the population in the U.S are doing that.

calibers. The last I heard ( a year or two ago) there were only 4 or 5 forges in the country that make all the lowers and uppers. Nate showed me the little code on the uppers and lowers that tells which forge they came from.
