This is the one to leave the factory. It was not the last one built, but it was the last one out the door.

In 1997 Ken Jorgensen was working for S&W. He kept this one back and sent it to John Taffin for the raffle at The Shootists Holiday.

My wife held the winning raffle ticket for this gun!

Nice guy. I probably bored him to death with questions about various guns during the Celebrity Handgun Hunt. Jorgenson in the middle facing the camera.

I know he went to work for Ruger for quite some time .. then his wife became very ill and he was helping take care of her. I lost contact about that time.

and I enjoyed the times we talked guns at the Celebrity Handgun Hunt. I hope his wife recovered.

I have to think about some good grips for some S&W revolvers. The factory targets look nice but aren't very good for shooting with.
