Hill Country Whitetail

I shot this one with the lightweight Backpacker 45 at about 35 yards. Load was a 260 grain cast SWC with enough Unique to run about 1000 fps. This revolver shoots this load to point of aim about as far out as I want to shoot a fixed sight at game with 76 year old eyes (about 40 yards). I also got some doe and hogs with the same revolver and a rifle. Just back from a week long hunt on a friend's ranch.
