Reeder Custom Guns - Saturday Sale O.M. 357 Magnum...

Got a bit brave with this one. Gun was very dirty, which probably means years of storage. Took it completely apart and cleaned each piece. Before reassembly, I polished the internals for a poor man's trigger job. The gripframe was bent and I think an easy fix. But, to abbreviate this job, I just want back with a spare one.

The sight was so dirty it wouldn't adjust. So I took it apart and soaked in alcohol. Modified a N.M. White Outlined Rear Sight Blade to work in the original sight.

Cleaned all the rubbed areas of blue and touched them up to reveal a true diamond in the rough.

I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase. Once I get the gripframe and ERH Cerakoted, I'd give the gun a 97-98% Condition. Hard to ask for more on a gun of this age.

I've had 3-4 a while back and really enjoyed them, one was a .30 Carbine but the others were .357s. I have no problem giving $350 or so for a sound beater and it is getting harder and harder for me to commission "custom" from them. I try NOT to shoot them prior, that helps! But I do have some really special heirloom customs that came from them. Also, it makes the remaining ones more valuable. That one was too nice to even think of such a consideration. For me anyway.

Was very tempting, but I have an Old Model .357/9mm that is in my safe now. It’s begging to get something done to it and I won’t convert it so who knows?....
