Had a 2x6 Simmons laying around, so I mounted that yesterday. Need to load some more rounds and test it out. Supposed to rain today so I should get-er-done.

I still have to get the dies, brass etc. I have some very naughty things planned for it, 173 gr. SWC Keith bullets resized to .356 and painted etc. Stuff some of these kids don't even know about. Unless they are a student of Taffin's wonderful coffee table books! Keith's writings are long gone, Sharpe, Skeeter, etc. not mainstream anymore. A lost generation to me. God bless JT, maybe the release of "Book of the .45" will expose them to the body of work and perhaps some will be motivated to get a real firearm education. Learn from history or repeat it!
Gary's "straight walled" .400 GNR is one I really want to toy with soon. I think it has great potential as a real hammer in these states with restrictions, if it's not too long in length criteria. I want one no matter. It's the next level, akin to Huey's toying with a .38 WCF carbine.

that your rounds will chamber before loading very many. You may have to drop down to 355”.
I hope they do, I only have a .356" sizer right now.

and the jacketed are indeed .355". I have some old Colt .38 Auto that I mic'd the 130 gr. FMJ at 0.357"! Go figure.
0.001" is not much, until it's that much, too much! lol I have shot some 158 gr. .358" bullets straight out of my European 9mm guns with no ills. Being soft alloy they are somewhat forgiving. Ditto .410" bullets from my 0.406" bore .401 WSL. I could not seat the 158 gr. all the way in 9mm as the case gets thick fast. I think that is why lots of 147 gr. 9mm bullets have a bevel on the bottom.
I don't think the kids these days know how to have fun. In all the late magazine articles they are sort of dead pan, and speak little of past history and knowledge much farther a decade or so.
