Reeder Custom Guns - another 45 Backpacker just finished

This one is for James Meeks. James wanted it in 45 Long Colt with a 4 5/8" barrel and finished in our satin Vapor Honed Black Chromex finish. The gun has been lightened considerably with the lightweight alloy frame among other ways to keep the weight down including scalloping the rear of the frame.It has had the Positive Performance Package done to it and is smooth and accurate. It has the Gunfighter Grip package with black Corian grips. All in all a really nice Backpacker.Any smears you might see are some residual oil still on the gun.

How much does that weigh?

with a slightly longer barrel than usual and the brass left

I would imagine somewhere around 28 ounces, maybe slightly
