Out here because we are the main drag to the Grand Canyon the people in charge keep the roads pretty clear.

6 to 8 feet in one day before. In the pics below our house is completely covered except for the chimneys. We had to dig a hole out the back door to let the dogs out.

dryness. It is snowing like crazy right now and we should have 15 to 20" at my house by morning. But all this snow will be gone totally by Saturday afternoon. No mud, no slush, just gone. Like it never happened.
A couple of years ago we had a bad strong wind snow storm with a bit over a foot of snow. It blew some of the tin roofing off my stable. I went up on the roof about 8AM with new roofing and all my tools. When I finished about 1 PM and got down there was no snow, no mud, nothing. It was just gone. Also we never have ice storms here, ever. It often snows up until mid June but we never have ice. I would rather have the snow any day than the ice.
We get ice. No fun.
