I have read this forum for a number of years, but seldom post.
I thought perhaps the misfits could help me sort out my feelings concerning faith in God. My grandson has Leukemia.
He is 4 yr.s old. First diagnosed at 10 months. He spent months in the hospital being treated,(bone marrow transplant),which as you know is a painful experience. He was cancer free for almost 2 yr.s until his relapse. Now he is being released soon from ST.Jude's in Memphis, after his second bone marrow transplant. He is OK now, but the doctor's are not hopeful about the future. The toll this has taken on my daughter and her husband and 3 other children has been heavy. They both gave up good jobs and moved from Austin to Memphis and have been separated from their 7 yr. old and the 17 yr. old, who are in the care of family. A new baby was born in the middle of all this, and is being raised in the hospital room where they are. If this is God's will, why?
