A slow process of messing around...

I have shot some of these single shot mode and now I have a “Ruger” 10-shot mag I’ll get to see if they feed smoothly. I hope to get the 200 gr. in the 1900-2000 fps range. I’m out of LilGun powder, it seems to be the best fit, but AA1680 looks like it might be close. You'd expect that from a rimless .357 Max. + 1/10". All bullets have been resized from .358” to .356” as the chamber mandates for loaded rounds. For a test, I am trying some 155 gr. SWC at a reduced charge. They are short in the mag and likely will not feed, but what a bonus if they did. Normally I’d at least want this paint coated, but this is just a brief test. You really need the dedicated dies to load the .350 Legend. I half sized the body with a .357 die. The case body and taper is larger diameter than about anything close including .357 and most die bodies you’d consider are too short. I used a .358 Win. die to seat bullets. So I’ll be ordering some true dies soon. Another odd thing is the brass looks like it has crimped in primers like a 5.56. I suddenly had some issues starting to seat primers, tipping and mashing. It calls for small rifle caps. At least it seemed on this batch of 145 gr. FMJ.

I'm using a 0.83" riser and std. high rings, I think I can use another 1/2" riser at least. It hurts my neck, I don't like the flat topped AR that much, never have. Carry handle height worked fine for me.
