Reeder Custom Guns - looks like Mother nature got me. All our vehicles are

completely either under the snow or the drifts have completely boxed them in. My friend with the front end loader is out of town, so it looks like I am going to have to see if I can dig out. With the 60 MPH wind we had last night some drifts are probably 7 feet tall while others are a mere 3 feet. Our driveway is gone, no way of even telling where it is. Either way there is no possible way I can get into the shop today.

for 3 years while a Naval Aviator. It's the windiest habitable place on earth. We'd get a 5-8 inch snow with 70 knot winds and it would look like something out of a Dr Seuss story book. The lawns would be swept clean but the drifts would reach almost to the second story. It sounds like you guys got a serious taste of the same thing.

to relax. Colleen and I have been working solid for 8 hours and have 3 of our vehicles out. All 3 are 4X4 so we will, good Lord willing, get into the shop Monday. The other 2 trucks, including the Bronco, are still bogged down in snowy slush that is covered by a minimum of 3 feet of new snow. Snow is completely over one side of the Bronco in a solid 6 foot snow drift. We had a whole day of rain and heavy wet snow yesterday and this new snow is on top of that so the Bronco is down to the hubs in slush and 3 to 4 feet of snow on top of that. I bought a commercial snow blower that is 31 inches tall and it is sorta hidden in one of the big drifts. Snow is being moved but with a layer of hard packed frozen snow and several feet of dry snow on top of that it is slow going. On a 4 or 5 foot snow drift the 31" snow blower just digs a tunnel into the drift. Me and that snow blower became good friends today, sorta. It did what it could and all the 12 and 14 letter words I could come up with didn't faze it a bit. We will continue our romance tomorrow.

Anyway, we will have the first day of the 24 Days of Christmas sale tomorrow morning. And go from there.
