The capacity ends up being about the same as a .454 Casull case. But with a smaller area on the case head it imparts a lot less forces to the frame than a necked .454 would. For the smaller framed G2 and G1 it is a really neat trick.
I bet the performance is very close to the larger .400 GNR based on the straightened .30-30.
