Temporary quick fix to forend dilemma.

Cut off about 2 inches off a composite forend. Needs some fine finish but works good enough to get me out and test fire!![[image]](images/uploaded/201912020222085de47550156c2.jpg)
Looks fine, if it’s a little loose , small thick rubber band

Turn some heads at the range, make people say “what is that?”. Forend fits perfect and I’m thinking it’s going on a hunt!

to go shoot. Nor sights! Doug and I have both shot 3-4" groups at 35 yds. just looking down the barrel! Anyone can. The main job of the forend is to keep the pin from falling out. A piece of tape would get your through a shooting session.
Just saying. I've shot fireform loads like that when I could wait no longer.

totally in half! No easy feat. I bought it cheap for my son Roman. I used Accra Glass with some color added, a few brass wood screws, buttered it all up. Then sanded it down to blend and stained to match. I'd have to show you the repair or you'd not notice it.
It may break again, but it will not be in that same place!
