Reeder Custom Guns - Day 3 of our 24 Days of Christmas Sale

Today we have a simple one. I have 3 custom TC frames and I have 10 of my second book all sale priced. The 3 frames are custom, full action job, and engraved. I have 2 of the G-2 frames and 1 Encore frame. My "retail" price done up like these is $675. I usually sale price them at $475 but on the Christmas sale I have the 2 G-2 frames and 1 Encore frame sale priced right about my cost at $435 each. I also have 10 copies of my second handgun hunting book. There are several thousand copies of my books out there but I am down to less than 50 left and i doubt I will do a second issue. They are priced normally at $40, but Christmas sale priced at $25. All prices are plus shipping. Here are the frames. a fish that is not hungry might be tempted to bite. I have a blued frame that I rigged for Roman with a .30 GNR barrel and 2-7x Burris as his hunting handgun. He took a nice Ram at HHC. So now it's his?!

I had a stainless G2 when they first came out. A Misfit down on his luck touched my heart and I donated it to the cause. The SOB lost it all, beautiful wife and daughter, let them get away. Don't know what ever happened to him. God bless him I'm at peace with my actions for sure. Now God, and Gary have blessed me with one much fancier than what I once had.

I plan to do some write ups and tests on 6mm Reeders, namely the .240 Banshee (Superized .243 K-Hornet)and .240 Raptor (TCU treatment on the longer, more capacious .204 Ruger) using a 95 gr. cast FPGC bullet. It would be pity not to have a nice Reederized chassis to photo with my barrels. I also have a new 55 gr. mould for my K-Hornet. If Santa asks I would like a .400 GNR 13-14" with brake, no matter blue or stainless!

I just sold a AR upper yesterday that allowed me a few gun dollars. Thank You!

This is my first step into the Thompson’s. Never even held one. I’m sure I’m opening a huge can of worms. Oh well. For me it’s a good way to fool around with some different calibers.

It was an ingenious little device with a sensitive safety design. Not without faults, but oh what pioneers like Gary, and other did to it.

The G2 is sort of a shrunk and simplified Encore. The "ribbons" along the sides of the frame strengthen the chassis from flexing. The trigger no longer upsets the cocking mechanism as in the old G1. The hammer is fantastic with a setting for "Centerfire" or "Rimfire" with "Safe" in the middle. You can cock or un-cock the hammer without having to open the action to "reset" the action. You could even set in the woods with a cocked hammer on "safe" if you wanted. It's a great improvement. The grip angle is a greater degree from the G1 also. This adds some distance to prevent trigger guard bite in recoil. The barrels and forends interchange with the old G1 but not the grips. An Encore grip will fit a G2 but it leaves a 1/8" gap on each side of the frame. So Encore stocks will work but fit is a little gappy. Engineers who shoot designed the G1, reflected on the lessons learned after some 50 yrs. and addressed them. It's a great rig. I have something like 6 frames and a couple dozen different barrels. It's fantastic.
