Reeder Custom Guns - Nosler partition at handgun velocity

Jim talked about how effective the partitions are and that can’t be argued. I wonder how they would perform at handgun velocities.

Huey brought up the hollow pointer tool. What if you hollow pointed partitions for the specialty handgun? Maybe flat point it and then hollowpoint it.

I shoot partitions in a majority of my single shot pistols; in calibers .25 -.416
People think the Partition is a "tough" bullet.
The fronts are actually rather "soft" and are meant to open fast (with a firm stop where the partition is located).
In my experience, at handgun velocities, it appears the fronts open slower and less violently.
Although I really don't know as I have never had a game animal stop a partition for me to recover.

various single shot handguns. I used them in probably 7 or 8 safaris in Africa and I never lost an animal when using them. I also don't remember finding a bullet when the animal was gutted although the black skinners aren't really great at finding bullets.
