Partitions in single shot pistols work beautifully.

I shoot partitions in a majority of my single shot pistols; in calibers .25 -.416
People think the Partition is a "tough" bullet.
The fronts are actually rather "soft" and are meant to open fast (with a firm stop where the partition is located).
In my experience, at handgun velocities, it appears the fronts open slower and less violently.
Although I really don't know as I have never had a game animal stop a partition for me to recover.
