It's just the market is so flooded. Plus most of us on the forum have 5-6 9mm already. What are you planning on doing with the funds you have generated? I know you were thinking a while back about a .45 or 10mm.

but you sure did have bad timing. S&W has a $50 rebate on those right now. And several agencies have traded in their Glocks, market rife with $300 Glocks right now.
I like Glocks and have several but it's hard to get excited. I like swapping barrels and changing calibers. I am thinking of doing up a G23 with 9mm, and .357 SIG barrels for fun. I have to admit I am smitten with the exotic Walther P99, it just fits me for a carry gun. Goofy trigger system but I just like it and can't help it.
I see some Contenders getting down to where I think they should be, price wise. Gary can "flat side" them for a nominal fee, really unique. But if your budget can afford it I think the G2 is a much better design in the long run. There have been more barrel fitting issues but that can be fixed too. I have two Encores, a G1 and blue G2, just ordered that stainless G2 from Gary. I look forward to getting a prissy one again.
