Long awaited day

Today I got my first prosthetic leg. I am supposed to walk a couple days with my walker and then try and transition to a cane. Use the cane a week or so until I get comfortable to try without it. The prosthetist said I’ll be walking in no time. What he didn’t expect was for me to be walking unassisted today, within 20 minutes.

God is truly good! I am blessed beyond measure. There was no pain other than muscle pain, but that is expected after not walking since August.
