Our 1895 conversions are probably our most popular with the 45-70 being converted to 50 Alaskan, 416 GNR, 450 GNR, and 375 GNR#2. The 1894 Marlin conversion is also very popular. That is converting it to various calibers including 41 GNR, 356 GNR, 410 GNR and 429 GNR. Here are some of the conversions..

a different steel material they called nickel steel that doesn't blue easily. In almost every case the steel turns plum color. Nothing wrong with it, just doesn't blue easily. Winchester used it on other guns too and marked most of them "nickel steel".
