I noticed they are gonna have a 6.5 Grendel in the American Ranch rifle. That will be a nice little gun! Especially since it is one of the magic 6.5 calibers! LOL. No joke, it will be a great little rifle.

Just a little bigger and I’m all in. 7mm rules for me. I’m waiting for the 7mm Creedmore, lol. Now I’ve shot a bunch of 6.5, love the Nosler 130 Accubond. But the 140-7mm is just better. That’s my story, sticking to it.

You .264 zealots party on and ignore me.

My 6.5 TCU, 6.5 Grendel, .260 Rem., Swede, 6.5-284 are all gone now.

Have shot the 6.5s and 7mms for years (among others), just can't seem to get away from what works.....the plain-jane .270.

For me, a 270 can do with a 22" barrel what it takes a 7mm at least 24" to do. YMMV.

The 6.5x55 Swede is my favorite. Bought one in 1982 and haven't been without one since. Current ones are Ruger #1 and Encore 14" Custom Shop.

I've still got a lightweight 6.5G AR left over from when I was heavy into ARs. Nice little rifle. Weighed a little over 6.5 lbs scoped with 5 in the mag. However, when I feel like shooting something with the AR, I usually grab a 556 gun that I'm fond of. I need sell it at some point. I thought my daughter would like it but she likes to shoot this savage 270 I have. If I were to ever do another 6.5 gun, it'd have to be a G2 on the 30-30 case.

With the set trigger, etc. Awesome cartridge with great ballistics and little recoil. Starline Brass is now making great cases to boot.

I'm one of those 6.5 Zealots that WB spoke of. Also have the Grendel in TC Contender Carbine and Pistol. Various 6.5s such as 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5x54, 6.5x55, etc.

A joy to shoot. 6.5s are my everyday favorites, been into them for more than 20 years. Have 6.5x54, .260 rem, 6.5x284, 6.5x55,6.5x57, 6.5x68R (Blaser K95), 6.5-06 Ackley,, 6.5 Rem mag, 6.5x270, 6.5 TCU, .264 Win, 6.5x55 Ackley and of course 1 creedmoor.
