Given to me in early 1979 at the age of 14. I learned a lot with that little gun. Very accurate gun and 100% reliable.
That was a good year for me. Also started working a real job that summer. Bought lots of clothes as girls were starting to look better and better.
But, being me, I also bought the first gun I paid for myself, a Ruger Security Six 357 Magnum.
The Ruger ended up getting placed elsewhere in part of my Dad's estate. But, the neat little Belgium Made Browning is still in my collection.
All the talk of Automatic 22 Handguns sure brings up lots of good memories.
