While I was typing my answer to the post about winter hunting below, I was attacked from behind by a house fly!

I immediately grabbed my BUG A SALT gun and began the stalk. In a few moments my quarry had landed on the window sill. I fired and blew him into the wall where he lay kicking and squirming. A finishing shot stilled him. It was satisfying.

Don't get all cocky with Horse Flies this summer. You might need a double for a fast follow up.

I glued the safety in the OFF position for fast shots.
