I don't think you guys need any more. California and Arizona are the perfect examples of working/non-working conservation models. Why is it that California seems to have a lion attacking some jogger or hiker every week but about once a decade in Arizona? I believe it is credited to hunting. We caught 3 lions. A female and her 2 sub adult cubs. We harvested the female and let the 2 cubs walk. Those 2 lions will now have a fear and appreciation for humans and dogs. In California that is not the case. I believe that nearly every lion in Arizona that is over a couple years old has been chased or pursued by lion hunters and that has greatly reduced the human/Lion conflicts in this state.
