A really odd mix, enjoyed wiping them down.

All my guns have stories. The top one is an Astra M200 "Firecat" .25 ACP. I always wanted a slick Colt 1908 but it has just not connected yet. The Astra is a Spanish improved version. Sort of like the PD .45. They didn't copy it but used it as a guide. It's smaller and safer. I bought this one for $100 because it had a miss matched and dragging magazine and a broken grip. Come to find out the grip screw was in too far and dragging on the magazine, which was an original but for a chrome gun. I paid $35 for some red tone replica replacement grips. Shoots like a champ. It has a manual safety, grip safety, and mag disconnect. I have no issues with that feature on such a small pocket tiddler. Roman was introduced to the world of .25 ACPs with this one and he really likes them. Within their limits.

The bottom is a very historic and odd one. It is a Bayard M1908 7.65mm. The barrel and spring are "upside down" from what we call normal today. However many guns have copied the innovative feature. S&W made a couple pocket guns like it and later a line of .22 RF in this manner. The "Bayard" name is from Charlemagne's horse which was said a rider was invincible in battle. Why we call a "Bay" horse it's color. It is about the same size as my Kahr .380 or a Kel-Tec .32. It was made around WWI and is the second variation. It too has a broken grip and I need to order the repro grips. I may play around making my own since it is such a simple flat design. My biggest complaint with the little Belgian gun is it's only a 5-shot and the original mags are about $100 when you find them.
