or even a straight pull rig. I don't like having my brass thrown in the grass. Feeding issues should be a lesser concern too. But who are they fooling? No gas system or block, no buffer assy., a simple handle on the bolt. It could be made very cost effective.

Read a loooooooong article on the .277 Furry to FINALLY get to the part that wanted to know, it is simply a slightly improved .270-08. More to the story but it distills down to that fact. (It was actually made specifically for SIG's SAW entry, military spec.'d 6.8mm) The gun platform looks nice and with all the AR stuff in the market I would love an upper like that to tinker with. List on the SIG rifle is $1600-1800. But it has the upper and lower integrated and all sorts of fancy trigger stuff, it has a wider market than just sporting. I hope to see one day a rig with only a upper with bolt handle differing from the standard AR and more like $500-600 base price, I can see that.
