From personal experience I found laws are fluid, and trend current or popular case law interpretation. The one with the most money wins, and keeps the lawyers employed. Even when a normal person wins, they've already lost, usually double.
Not only have you been screwed to get you into the arguments, but the system at $200+ per hour, court costs, etc. bend you over for a second round. Just because you ask for recompense of legal costs does not mean you actually get it in hand either. Are you going to kick the ball again when it does not happen? It has to stop sometime.
