When I developed the 378 GNR and it was a success, I started down the next caliber and so on, going to the 350 GNR, then 338 GNR, then 8mm GNR, then 310 GNR and so on. If I had looked at the old 35 Winchester data I probably wouldn't have even done the 350 GNR as the velocities were 400 to 600 fps under what I expected out of the 350 GNR. I know you and Huey like the old stuff but I can't develop and market decent cartridges if I tell the customers it is 400 fps less than a cartridge that was out a hundred years ago.
