cartridges like 41 GNR, 356 GNR etc, as the shell plate sits on a spring sitting on a ball bearing. And on full length resizing sometimes the spring loaded shell plate gives a slight bit, maybe a thou or two. But that is enough that the cartridge won't completely fit in the chamber, sticking out that couple of thous. So I do all the straight wall cases on the Dillons. Cartridges like 44 Mag, 44 Special, 357 mag and special, 45 long colt, 45 ACP, 510 GNR, 41 mag, 9mm, 38 super and so on. I try to keep a Dillon set up for those that I have to load the most. The necked down stuff I load in the RCBS Turret presses as each of them holds 2 full sets of dies. The RCBS Ammo Master is the press I use for the tall cartridges like 470 Nitro, 500 Nitro, my new 417 GNR, most of my cartridges based on the 405 case, and so on. So I get my money's worth out of each of the presses.
