Regarding gun talk and nonsense, One of my shooting buddies told a mutual friend, who'd lost two deer this season, that the 180 grain bullets from his 308 Win. were the problem. Evidently the bullet is just too heavy for whitetail. Didn't expand, too slow, etc., etc. 3 years ago I gave our mutual friend 2 boxes on Winchester 180 gr softpoints to try 'cuz he couldn't get the high end $40 per box ammo he had to shoot in his rifle. The 180s shot well then. The 180s were good for him for 2 seasons prior. But guess who got trash talked as a dumb ass....

That set-up killed millions of deer. Popular in Pa.
