powder in half cans and such. Some marked with different names than what is on the can. I set them aside and usually around the middle of July my daughter and her brood come over from California to spend some time with us. I usually get a big bonfire in the back yard and bring out the cans of gun powder. Her kids are 12 up to 20 or so and in California they are not treated to some good old fashioned fun. I give each of the a handful of gun powder and let them throw it into the fire. It goes off with a big whoosh and they love it. They all have fun and I get rid of about 20 lbs of unknown powder.
