sight a gun in here where the air is clear and no smog and no humidity, dead on at 100 and I go to a state where the humidity is heavy and the air is dense with smog etc, the gun will shoot totally different. Years ago I sighted one of my 30 GNR handguns in at 75 or so up here at 8000 feet. I was hunting way down in south Texas with heavy humidity and such. Just to be sure I checked my gun in when I got there and it was 4" difference in point of impact. So everything makes a difference. Your best bet is to shoot your gun at 100, then go to 200 and then 300 or however far you think you might shoot. Then write it down on a piece of paper and tape it to the rear of your scope. Then your only problem is estimating distances. Unless you are in an area that you know how far it is from one hill to another or from a tree stand to a certain point out in a field then you are back to square one. So good luck.

MANUALS SUCH AS HORNADY WHICH WILL TELL YOU VIRTUALLY EVERYTHING YOUR LOAD WILL DO AT VARIOUS DISTANCE "MATHEMATICALLY". BUT AS GARY SAYS THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER VARIABLES. YEARS AGO I CAME UP WITH A GREAT LOAD HERE IN IDAHO AND WHEN I GOT TO TEXAS THEY LOCKED UP THE ACTION ON MY T/C. THE ONLY WAY TO TELL WHAT ANY INDIVIDUAL FIREARM WILL DO IS TO EXPERIMENT.

rounds several years ago for a Javelina hunt down south. The temps were about 60 degrees hotter down there from up here and my loads that were fine up here pierced the primers down there with the hotter temps. So there are a lot of things to take into consideration.
