Several new ones I'm interested in this year...

I have a Glock 44 waiting on me at my LGS. Busy work schedule, but will pick it up soon. Really looking forward to this one.

The good folks at Cimmaron shipped me one of the new Bad Boy 10mm Revolvers out to try a couple days back. I've vowed to buy any model revolver Uberti builds that have open sights. No factory guns I hold in higher regards than Uberti.

Last, but not least, the new Ruger 5.7x28. Like Gary, have one requested but no word yet. This is an unusual choice for me, but it has such great potential. Have no opinions of it yet, but all reviews have been exceptional.

I always look forward to trying new guns. Pretty much expect anything from the above three manufacturers to be top quality.

Of course, Gary tempted me beyond my resistance yesterday. So the Smolt will be first on the list to shoot.

They? No one mentioned it. I jumped the gun and bought a Taurus TX-22. But it is suppressor ready and was $100 less, so it’s ok.

My LGS has gotten nothing but praise on those Taurus...

22 LRs. Don't think I've ever heard a negative thing about those.

My trigger is a little wobbly, new design.

It’s very useable. They omitted a through pin like we are used to. But as I said it’s a good trigger. I like Glock’s .22 auto. They need one on the .380 chassis, maybe next year.

I'd love to see a Glock 22 Magnum...

talked about the 22 Magnums. Both of us are lovers of the 22 Magnum. Like Huey said I would love Glock to come out with a 22 Magnum..Maybe.

Colleen bought me 2 pistols in 22 Magnum. One

is the Kel Tec PMR-30 which is a great gun, but it just doesn't feel like a gun to me. The other one is the Rock Island 22 Magnum. As it is sorta a 1911, sorta, it feels good in my hand and I shoot it well. It also shoots anything I feed it. I highly recommend it.

is really close mechanically to their pistol. While it is pretty big they have made it from the beginning as a small game hunter. They shoot MOA! Little finicky with ammo sometimes but it's two lesser known .22 WMR semi-autos, a carbine and pistol.

Busy day yesterday, Gunnotes was nice surprise

Couple stand outs are that exotic Ruger “five-seven”. The ballistics leave me a little cold but it’s bound to be great fun and surely it will bring ammo prices lower so folks can shoot the little blow-back caliber. I have my own vintage Winny 62A pump .22, when folks find how fun it is they’ll sell. True on the AR, I spent money on (3) lately just to play with since they were so cheap, 9mm, .350,.450. I think I won’t lose too much but sure won’t make money on them. I do want one of those pocket Ruger .22’s. I just got back from town and put up my high dollar 16-shot half steel-plastic wonder 9. They are a tool, feels like such a rip off compared to a good wheelgun. It will be interesting to see how the aging Boomers will effect the shooting industry. The luxury motorcycle is going to tip into a huge downfall. We need to take folks shooting, not just kids, neighbors, friends, co-workers. Start a little club.

The Gun Notes were excellent. Very informative...

Not a lot of new and exciting stuff this year. But, these three stand out to me.

Not sure about the LCP II yet. It's a maybe thing for me. I do like mine in 380 though.

No factory guns in higher regard?

As JT says get an aspirin take a nap (and call Freedom Arms.)

Yes , I have a Cimmaron. They are well done or better than any new Colt out there but this gets to be a bit much.

The Model P in 38 WCF is mine and I think the 44spl is the bee's knees.

Have six FA97s in my battery of revolvers...

They are truly fine revolvers. But, don't hold them in any higher regards than Uberti given price, accuracy, fit, finish, etc all taken into account.

Everyone else certainly entitled to form their own opinions.
