more than I would ever have hoped for. My heros growing up are gone now but I was lucky enough to meet and have as friends a couple of them, such as Bob Milek, and Lee Jurras. Al Goerg, the man that really got me into this handgunning, was my first inspiration and that yearning to do something none of my friends were doing was what kept me going. Al was long gone when I sold my rifles and switched solely to handguns, but his book on handgun hunting was right there with me thru the years. I went handguns only in 1970 and other than a few trips up on the arctic circle for Caribou and a couple of bear hunts in Canada it has been nothing but handguns for me for 50 years now. These days my lone hero is good friend John Taffin. If there was ever a "been there, done that" handgunner, it is John.

James, looking at the pictures of your critters here and in Africa are an inspiration to any young wannabe handgun hunter on this forum. Hopefully we can spend some time popping some caps at the October HHC.
