Makes no sense, but was raised with wood heat. Just feels right...

makes me wonder at my sanity.
But the wood stove mention I agree with. We have 3 wood stoves, one in our living room, one back in the trophy/reloading room and a wood cook stove that I bought out of Knoxville Tennessee from a company that has been making wood cook stove for almost 200 years. It is exactly like the wood cook stoves of a hundred years ago. That is off of our kitchen in a little eating nook. It heats up the house better than the other 2 stoves.

It was a little bigger and white in color. Remember it well for I chopped the wood for it.

Can almost smell bacon cooking !

poker on the wood fire, dad told me to do something... so I told little brother leave the poker alone or else. When I got back I picked up the poker and then couldn't let it go. I had set it down close to the fire. It was way past hot and I got 2nd degree burns on my right hand. Had no finger prints for a while. Should have let little brother have it. Still love wood heat. Now it is gas logs
