This beauty is for those of you that favor the older classic cartridges. It is chambered in 44-40 and in this revolver the top end loads are a piece of cake. The gun has a beefy 5 1/2" barrel with the interchangeable blade front sight with the gold bead blade. It has the Bisley Gunfighter Grip with a really nice set of French walnut grips. The gun has had the Positive Performance Package and is super smooth and accurate. It is finished in our soft satin Vapor Honed Black Chromex with contrasting satin stainless small parts. It has the Belt Mountain base pin for the utmost in accuracy. The Howdah is normally $1995 on the web site but this one is sale priced at $1750.

I love that one but if I build it would be black chromex.

Best caliber?

rechambered to 44-40 in a cylinder. In a TC it would have to be either 44 mag or 44 spl and the 44 Special works best.

I doubt one could be built for a better price. And...

What a class act this build is.

Loaded to +P levels it's a tremendous performer too.

Some Handloader needs to buy this...

I can resist anything except temptation.
