Recently we made another batch of our very popular Flattop Tools that convert a round nose 22 LR into the power of a 22 Magnum. Each tool holds 3 rounds. Insert the rounds into the tool, take a sharp knife and slice off the nose of the bullet that is sticking out of the tool and that's it. In the picture the small hole is the standard 22 LR, the large hole is the 22 LR out of the same box after running thru the Flattop Tool. The tools are normally $85, now sale priced at $60 and I have 3 left.

Finally I have a factory TC Contender carbine barrel. Stainless steel, new, and 23". Regular $325, sale priced at $165.

College a holler and see if they know a young man willing to relocate, good machine operator that loves guns and hard work. Worth a shot.

already contacted all 3 of the gunsmithing schools

and got on their list. All the young people these days want to do is work on 1911s and AR-15s. I need a good metal polisher bad. We had one young guy a while back that worked one day and never came back. He told a buddy he thought we were on CNC machines and he didn't like getting dirty. Another kid worked half a day and we never saw him again. Another had his Mother drive him to the shop and she sat in the car waiting for him. When he came out at noon for lunch she freaked out that he was handling guns. She wouldn't let him come back after lunch.

Always wanted to go to smith school.

Wish I were in a different place in my life. Ain't above me to sweep floors and clean a latrine. I like restoring old ones. I'm getting high tech now I have a dual polishing wheel. LOL. Been working aircraft and structures for 40 years. Last 18 as an inspector.

good going Scotty

Not fit it in right now, and tried not to think about it.

I’ll build a slick Reeder custom to show and foster ideas for others. I’ve learned quite a bit shooting and fiddling with these .470 and .500 NE over the years. Synthetic stocks are the way to go! I split even laminated, it split worse than walnut! The layers are longitudinal and split, broke my glass bedding too. Adding weight to the forend stresses the tiny screws and the gun tries to kick out from under it. Ditto the big Ruger No. 1’s. You have a Tiger by the tail!

Thanks again for the opportunity for such fun at a great bargain.

I talked to Noodle this AM and darn near got the .500!

You know I share at HHC. How many times you
